Jonathas Laferty, known as Big John, is an old tired adventurer with a troubled pass. His first family was killed by hill giants, a colateral tragedy caused by the giant society shattering in the Savage Frontier, due to King Hekaton disapearance. He met his new love, Karra, a fierce Dwarf, and with their companions they unveiled Lymrith's conspiracy, saved Hekaton and killed the dragon in the desert of Anauroch.
Trapped in Ravenloft for decades, his second family was destroyed when his last daugher awakened and followed The Ancient Evil calling. He and Karra are now adventuring again to find and save their daughter.
